Good morning, internet! I may still be recovering from my Andrew Bird-filled weekend (a review and photos of his second show will be up later), but there is, of course, no rest for the weary. There are several great shows going on this week, including a whole bunch at the newly opened Lincoln Hall; Ted Leo on the 25th is the official opening event.
I’ll be missing many of these great shows because I’ve got two of my own going on, which are, of course, helpfully on the list below. Check out Chicago’s finest all-clarinet ensemble, the Licorice Sticks, on the 23rd or 25th, in a couple of delightfully spooky productions, complete with costumes and guest performers. Yours truly will be there, rocking suspenders and a fedora. For real.
