A bit of a quiet week overall, and yet I still will be finding myself at two, maybe three, shows. I’ll be at Dawes on Wednesday and Johnny Flynn on Friday, and thinking about catching the Heavy on Saturday. Busy week. If you see me, say hi!

“Kentucky Pill” is the first single off of his new album, Been Listening. He comes from the same school of new British folk artists like Laura Marling, Mumford & Sons, and Noah and the Whale, so you should definitely love him and his music.

England sure seems to be producing a lot of young folk singers with very big voices, older than their years. Johnny Flynn is one of them.
