Welcome back to your regularly scheduled blogging! If you're around this weekend, check out the three-day Chicago Bluegrass and Blues festival, with shows at the Double Door, the Congress Theatre, and Lincoln Hall.

The most exciting thing going on is this weekend's North Coast Music Festival, running Friday through Sunday at Union Park. Three-day passes are sold out, but single day passes are available for $40.

Some interesting shows going on this week. The Antlers stop by The Vic and will undoubtedly perform some beautifully atmospheric songs from Hospice. Snook Dog managed to sell out the Metro, Greg Laswell has his second night of his winter residency up at SPACE, and Billy Corgan lends his name and talent to a benefit show for the Kellogg Cancer Care Center.
